The Foam Ban – What You Need to Know

In line with environmental regulations, PFOA and PFOS foam extinguishers are being phased out and banned due to environmental and health concerns.

We only supply and install fully compliant PFAS foam — which are still suitable for Class A and B fires without the long-term contamination risks.  We can also supply PFAS-free foam alternatives for those looking for complete eco-friendly fire extinguishers.

If your premises still contains legacy foam units, we can:

  • Identify affected extinguishers during service

  • Remove and dispose of non-compliant units responsibly

  • Replace with environmentally compliant alternatives

Stay ahead of the regulations and avoid future liabilities by ensuring your site is foam free.
